News & Record Obit: GREENSBORO — Richard Clayton "Rick" Arrington, 58, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at Moses Cone Hospital after a brief illness.
He was a Guilford County native born to W.C. "Duck" and Pauline Brown Arrington. He was a graduate of South East Guilford High School, Wingate College and Atlantic Christian College. He served his country in the National Guard. He was president of Acme Wholesale Floral Supply for 35 years and also served as the president of the North Carolina Floral Association in 2004. He enjoyed his days with his many friends and family playing golf, enjoying the beach and being a devoted "Parrothead". He was a devoted father, husband and son and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, W.C. "Duck" Arrington. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Clark Arrington; daughters, Dana Lynn Arrington and Shelley Lee Arrington, both of Greensboro; his mother, Pauline "Polly" Arrington of Greensboro.
