LOGAN, W.Va. — Marvin "Henry" Webb of Logan became an angel Fri., August 7, 2015, at age 56. He is the son of Roy "Bott" Webb and Pearl Shanklin. Left behind were numerous family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and Army brothers. With his infectious laugh, warm smile, and positive outlook, there were no strangers.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served seven years as a tanker. His work included building military tanks and a CDL truck driver, hauling explosives, driving wrecker vehicles, and delivering fuel products to coal mines/companies in three states. He enjoyed roaming the mountains, relaxing on the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
Though he will be deeply missed, his wish was that those left behind not be burdened with sorrow, but instead to live on, embracing each hour, and do all things the same.
Honoring his wishes, he was cremated at Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services and no services will be conducted. Instead, he requested donations in his memory to be made to the PAWS Squad of Logan Co WV, 1412 Lincoln Highway, Chapmanville, WV 25508 or through their Paypal address at [email protected]
Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapmanville was in charge of arrangements.
