Charles Arthur Agee, age 81, of Poplar Bluff, Mo died Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Agee was born June 9, 1934 at Poplar Bluff. He was a timber worker, mechanic, farmer and retired from Florsheim Shoe Company. He was of the Christian faith. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed horses and cattle and his beloved farm. He had served in the Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. On January 29, 1955 he married June Campbell. She survives. Also surviving are two sons: Jim Agee (Becky) of Poplar Bluff, Orian (Ronda) Agee of Poplar Bluff; three daughters:Mary Ivy (Bud) of White Springs, Florida, Nevada Young (Marshall) of Poplar Bluff, Carol Petty (Norman) of Delta Junction, Alaska. 13 grandchildren: Jennifer Brewer, Michelle Gross, Michael Agee, Ashley Robertson, Christopher Agee, Cassie Khesed, Miranda Petty, Jonathan Agee, Jacob Petty, Mary Kate Petty, Emily Petty, Samantha Cowin, Marshall Young Jr.; 13 great grandchildren; one brother: James Agee of Fairview, MO; one sister: Nellie Woods of Poplar Bluff. He was preceded in death by his parents: Orian Lee and Iva Ellen Agee; and siblings Fred Agee and an infant brother and sister. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm on Monday at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Sanders officiating.
