Steven Shawn Bryant, age 54, died October 8, 2015 at his home in Benton, Missouri.

Born July 31, 1961 in Sikeston, Missouri, son of the late Bill and Ollie Jean (Saling) Bryant, he worked for Jennings Brothers Farms and attended Cape Bible Chapel.

He is survived by his lifelong friends, Sharon Holyfield of Bell City, Missouri, Steven & Elisabeth Miller of Benton, Missouri, Mark & Becky Roberts of Morehouse, Missouri, Tim Sanders of Sikeston and Richard Holyfield of Deland, Florida.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 11, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 12, at 10:00 a.m. Captain Ronnie Amick of the Salvation Army will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Larry McHenry, Tim Sanders, Mark Roberts, Caleb Mosbey, Bobby Burns, Chad Hampton and Alan Howard.
