He leaves behind Mary Lou Ross, his wife of 37 years; his siblings Leroy, Jim, Richard, and Vonnie; 4 children, several grandchildren and great grandchildren who all loved him very much.
Gene was a social and active man who enjoyed all ocean activities, especially fishing, abalone diving and kayaking with his dog Rahnnie at the helm. Gene's family and friends will always remember him as kind and always willing to lend a helping hand. His unique outlook on life will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Services will be held at Sacramento National Cemetery, Dixon CA. Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 1:30 p.m. Please join us for a Celebration of Gene's life on Saturday Oct. 17, 1:00 p.m. at 5613 Pecan Ave, Orangevale. CA. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the hospice of your choice.
