Personal: Her husband of 39 years, Neil, was at her side at the time of her passing. Neil and Paula owned and operated Hartman s Two Family Restaurant in Belfast for 28 years before selling it in 1997. Paula was a graduate of Nazareth High School class of 1972 and became the personal secretary of Principal Frederick Benfield following graduation. She was active in the local Parkinson s support group and also was a past President of the Sullivan Trail Sertoma Club which was consistent with her desire to always put others before herself. She also enjoyed the yearly Wambold and Koch reunions and was a faithful participant. Perhaps Paula s greatest passion was working on her scrapbooking which chronicled her children s lives and love of family. She was of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors: Her survivors include her husband Neil; her mother-in-law, Marion Shook; daughters, Andrea Shook and her fianc Daniel Beebe, Erin Greydanus and her husband, John; three grandchildren, Kamren, Kaiden and Kaelah; four sisters, Kathy Bunk and her husband Joseph, Cindy Cornell and her husband Talvin, Mary Ford and her husband Doran and Joan Coberly.
Services: Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. John s Lutheran Church, 200 S. Broad St., Nazareth with the Rev. David B. Schaeffer presiding. Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. in the church and Saturday from 10 a.m. till time of service in the church. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Hecktown. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.
