Jeanne Leona Wolfe, age 72, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday October 7, 2015. She was born in Houston, Texas on October 14, 1942 to Lillie Melissa Wolfe Purfurst and Otto P. Purfurst.
She enjoyed going on trips, fishing, camping, going to the hunting lease, working in her yard and especially spending time with her family. She was a private person who was always happy, loved life, loved people and was the kind who never met a stranger. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters and brothers-in-law Susan Brown (and husband, James) and Margret Troxell (and husband, Ronald).
Jeanne is survived by her beloved husband whom she met in 1961 and celebrated 50 years of marriage, Bernard Wolfe; her sons Chris and Patrick Wolfe and her granddaughter, Hali. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Sterling-White Cemetery 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Saturday October 10, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Sterling-White Cemetery.
