Kathryn Lynn (Katie) Davidson, 20, of Columbus, passed away at her home, Tuesday, September 1, 2009.
Katie was born October 16, 1988 to parents, Don Davidson and Diana (Frank) Abplanalp. She graduated from Columbus East High School in 2007, where she had been a member of the track and the swim team.
Katie loved life and helping anyone in need. She had a generous heart that was always open. She loved her cats, Minnie, Mickey, & Derby, her black lab.
She was a member of the Garden City Church of Christ.
Katie is survived by her parents; sisters, Leslie Davidson and Angela West both of Indianapolis; and brothers, Joel Davidson, Matthew & Daniel Abplanalp of Columbus; grandparents Paul and Doris Romine and Bonnie Davidson; and aunt, Barbara Romine; uncles, Keith (Tanya) Romine, Glen (Sharon) Davidson of Freetown, several cousins, two nieces and a nephew.
Katie was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Earl Davidson and a cousin Chloe Davidson.

FUNERAL: Friday September 4, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Garden City Church of Christ with the Rev. Virgil Clotfelter officiating.
VISITATION: 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday September 3, 2009 at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of services at the church.
BURIAL: Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.
