Margie Mae Young, 88 of Beech Creek, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the Haven Skilled Rehabilitation Facility in Lock Haven. She was born in Bellefonte on May 3, 1927 the daughter of the late James & Sarah Pearl Klinefelter Rossman.
She married Calvin Young, who preceded her in death in 2003.
Margie enjoyed knitting, crocheting, word puzzle books and going for rides. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters; Mary (Jerry) Hanley of Beech Creek, Connie Baney of Mill Hall, and Audrey (Dave) Rhine of Lock Haven, four sons; Calvin "Louie", Roger (Tina), Joseph (Kim), Kenneth (Wanda) Young all of Beech Creek, a son-in-law; Bruce Winslow of Beech Creek, one brother; Gilbert (Betty) Rossman of Bellefonte, two sister-in-laws; Evelyn Williams of Bellefonte and Loretta Young of Ulysses, Pa., 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Margie was preceded in death by two daughters; Judy Young and Deb Winslow, a grandson, two son-in-laws and a daughter-in-law.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Beech Creek Wesleyan Church, 217 Main Street, Beech Creek with the Rev. Alan S. Eckenroad officiating. Friends and family will be received Friday, October 9, 2015 from 6 - 8:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at the Schencks Cemetery in Howard Twp.
