Ralph G. "Duke" Steele, 89, formerly of Dormont, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2015. He was the beloved husband of the late Bernice (Goss) Steele; devoted father of Howard R. (Kim) Steele, Norma S. Buhrman and the late Janet L. Aiken; also survived by loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one grandson. Ralph, a World War II Army veteran, was very active in the Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, the Dormont AARP and the Dormont VFW. For years, Ralph was a delivery man for Carl Colteryahn Dairy and also did seasonal work installing awnings for some 200 homeowners.

Friends will be welcomed from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Saturday at LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon. Interment with military honors in Bethel Cemetery.
