Ann's obituary reads "MRS. A. J. M. DIXON.
After an illness of some months' duration, Mrs Ann Jane M. Dixon passed to the Great Beyond on Wednesday morning last, the 10th inst., at her residence, 24 Albert-street, at the age of 68 years. Deceased, who was a native of Port Melbourne, was the wife of Mr Henry O. Dixon, a well-known resident, and daughter of the late John and Jane Harris. She has been a resident of this city for over 65 years, for over 45 years was a prominent member of the John-street Methodist Church, and also a member of the Old Williamstown Association: The funeral, very largely attended, took place on Thursday afternoon last, leaving her late residence for interment in the local cemetery. Ernest W. Jackson had charge of the funeral arrangements, and the Rev. R. Ditterich officiated at the cemetery. The pall-bearers were Messrs. W. Harris, C. Harris, E. Hind, H.. A. Glew, F. Adams, F. Woolf, A. Brooks, J. Mitchell, R. Willian and F. Raymer."
