Sherri Lee Williams-Bird, 57, of Winfield, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at CAMC Teays Valley. Born June 9, 1956, in Clay County, she was a daughter of Paul Williams of Sutton and the late Frances Reed Williams. Also preceding her in death was her brother, John Wayne Williams.She was a registered nurse for 22 years, serving in area hospitals and nursing homes.In addition to her father, she is survived by her children, Dennis Paul Mick (Sandra) of Kenna, Tiffany Adams (Eric) of Hurricane and Laura Herod of Culloden; her grandchildren, Seth, Ethan, Eli, Chance and Carah; brother, Jeffrey Williams (Brenda) of Clendenin; sister, Teresa Crihfield (Jerry) of Elkview; and fiance, Marty Lanham of Winfield.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 29, at Chapman Funeral Home, 3941 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane. Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Park, Hurricane.
