Tina Renee Samples-Hamilton was born on October 10th, 1964 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Terrance Arthur "Terry" and Lucille (Studie) Samples. Tina grew up with two brothers and two sisters, Gary, Geraldine, Linda, and Pumpkin.

She attended grade school in Keys, high school in Tahlequah, and took college courses at NSU.

She worked for the City of Tahlequah at the golf course and then began working for a variety of places as a cashier, finally at Keys Fuel Mart.

When she wasn't working, there was nothing better for Tina than being with her family. She loved teasing them and being teased in return.

Her closets were filled with her OU shirts and she was an avid fan of their endeavors. Mickey Mouse collectibles lined her shelves while she looked for her next item to add. From the time she got up to the time she retired, Tina had an ice cold Pepsi in her hand, and woe to him who drank her last Pepsi! Her favorite canine companion, Patsy, was even known to share a Pepsi with her! She worked in the garden, and spent hours making crafts with her mom, and occasionally holding a yard sale or two.

Tina never had any children of her own, so she made every niece and nephew hers! Every Christmas found Tina shopping for that just right pair of socks for every one of them, and they better be put on straight! Tina will always be remembered in the community as the lady who always knew your name and was so happy to see you. She genuinely loved people and it showed. She had a wonderful sense of humor and bantered with everyone. She liked soap opera's, General Hospital especially, Wheel of Fortune(she was going to win their big jackpot), and Jeopardy (of course she knew the answer!).She loved running around with her best friend and roomie, Mom. You could be sure she would pull out one of her favorite phrases like "Lets go to the woodpile", "buck ya like a bull", "your Momma's pretty" and numerous others.

May 3rd, found Tina's life changed forever when she suffered an aneurysm. She remained hospitalized for 59 days, and showed all those who loved her she possessed a will and fight to survive. Her can do spirit and optimism were present in every mental and physical hurdle she overcame. Tina was a Christian by faith and baptized at Carter Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending services at various churches and recently at the Cherokee Home Mission Church.

The Lord saw Tina grow tired from her struggles and called this sweet and loving lady to her eternal rest on Sunday, October 4th, 2015 in Tulsa, OK, gathered by those she loved and held dear. Tina donated her organs in hopes of making life a little better for someone else. Tina remains in our hearts, loved, cherished, and missed. She was 50 years old.

Tina is preceded in death by her father, Terry, maternal grandparents, Swimmer Studie and Lydia Swimmer-Buzzard, one niece, Summer Samples, and other aunts and uncles.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Lucille Samples of the home in Park Hill, two sisters and two brothers, Gary Samples of Woodall, OK, Geraldine Scott and husband Earnie of Welling, OK, Linda Daugherty of Woodall, OK, and Terry "Punkin" Samples and wife Cindy of Park Hill, OK. She leaves twelve nephews, and seven nieces, Daniel, Lincoln, Isacc, Jacob, E.J., D.O., Dustin, Dexter, Drew, Allen, Nick, J.J., Raylynn, Deidra, Davidaa, Brandi. Lindsay, Ashley, and Krisshell, 18 great nieces, 18 great nephews, many cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
