Casey Nicole Davis, age 21, of Surrency died Monday, October 5, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Casey was born August 26, 1994 in Jacksonville, Florida to Alfred Kent Davis III (Kent) and Lorene Suzanne Baker Davis (Lori). She was a member of Zion Baptist Church and a graduate of Appling Christian Academy Class of 2013 where she won Miss ACA 2013, and Homecoming Queen 2013. She was employed by the Appling County Sheriff's Department as a 911 dispatcher, and the Appling County Christian Academy as a preschool assistant. Casey was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wanell & Evie Baker and Patricia Ann Tillman Davis.
Survivors include her parents, Kent & Lori Davis of Surrency; Sister & brother in law, Shelby & Mallory Harvey of Baxley; Aunt & Uncle, Cheryl & Jerry Sloan of Waycross; Nephews, Kade & Davis Harvey of Baxley; Grandfather, Alfred Kent Davis, Jr; Great Aunt & Uncle Etwinda & Stanley Tillman of Surrency; Boyfriend, Cameron Dyal and several friends and extended family.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the Appling Christian Academy with Rev. Wayne Williamson & Rev. Lee Whitaker officiating.
Visitation will be Friday evening 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Swain Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are the Appling Sheriff's Department deputies.
Honorary Pallbearers are Appling Christian Academy and the Class of 2013 and all friends and family in attendance.
