This Caswell Kite married his 1st cousin, Harriett Kite (his father was named Samuel Kite, her father was named David Kite & they were brothers). Georgia Marriages, 1808-1967 marriage: Caswell Kite to Harriett Kite 1 October 1833, Fayette, Georgia. Holly Kite was a daughter of Caswell Kite and Harriet Kite.

There were six known children born to the marriage of Frank Fleming and Holly Kite Fleming; the six children are listed as:
1) James P. was born 16 July 1869 and died 28 July 1873, place of burial unknown;
2) H. N. Nettie was born 28 July 1871, Nettie married Norman Ransom;
3) L. B. Lydia was born 31 December 1873, Lydia married Charles Fletcher, Lydia died 14 December 1944, buried in Galveston Memorial Park, Hitchcock, Galveston County, Texas;
4) Annie Elizabeth was born 31 December 1875 and died 26 April 1880, place of burial unknown;
5) Thomas "Tom" as listed in the Fleming Family Bible was born 05 March 1878. Thomas married Ada bell Rankin on September 1902 in Bastrop County, Texas. Thomas Francis Fleming died in Elgin on 04 July 1954 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, McDade, Texas, near his father step-mother and grandparents;
6) Ethan Daten "Ede" was born 08 April 1880, his death certificate lists his place of birth as Davilla, Milam County, Texas. Ethan married Nora "Elnora" Fleming. Ethan died 29 January 1952 Gray County, in the Texas Panhandle.

Fleming Family Bible Records will show that Holly Kite Fleming gave birth to their sixth child on 08 April 1880 and Holly Kite Fleming died on the 14th day of April 1880. Also in the month of April 1880, their youngest daughter, Annie Elizabeth died on 26 April 1880. "A brief autobiography written in May 1920 entitled A Brief History of the Life and Labors of F. M. Fleming, as a Baptist Minister states that he was converted and baptized into the Fellowship of the Lexington Baptist Church of Christ in 1870. He was ordained in the full work of Baptist Ministry in September 1874 and was licensed to preach by Blue Branch Baptist Church in 1876..." Research has been conducted to determine where Francis Marion Fleming and family were living in 1880. The 1880 census has not been found. Knobbs Church Records show that Francis Marion was the pastor for 1882, 1883, 1884. A document written by Lee Pannell entitled Oak Hill Community-Looking Back, Lee Pannell writes that "In 1882 Church-School Trustees accepted a $50.00 payment from and granted Frank Fleming to preach the Baptist religion on the third Sunday".

Note: Ethan Daten "Ede" was born 08 April 1880, his death certificate lists his place of birth as Davilla, Milam County, Texas; therefore, is is assumed that Holly Kite Fleming is buried in Milam County, location of cemetery unknown to this writer.
