Brenda Jean Bullard Beaver, age 71, passed away Oct. 5, 2015, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury. Mrs. Beaver was born Nov. 20, 1943, in Cabarrus County. Her father was Eli Alfrod Beaver and mother was Martha Bullard Meekins. She graduated from South Rowan High School and attended New Haven Baptist Church. She retired from Corriher Mills in Landis as a winder tender. She loved oil painting, old movies, travel, especially to the beach, and loved to crochet, especially dolls. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Grover Eugene (Buster) Beaver. He passed away on April 9, 2012. She also had a daughter, Linda Ann Bentley, who passed away March 17, 2014. Her survivors are son Gilbert Eugene (Buddy) Beaver and wife (Rebecca) of Milton Georgia. Buddy is retired from the U.S. Navy. She also has a daughter Jeannie Mae Beaver of Kannapolis. She serves in U.S. Air Force. There are three sisters, Dorothy Echerd from Kannapolis, Shirley Miller of Salisbury and a twin Linda Stewart from Mooresville. There are four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Arrangements: The service is Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove. Visitation will be 2-3:30 p.m. prior to the service. The Rev. Frank Johnson will be officiating. Burial will be at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family is being served by Linn-Honeycutt in China Grove.
