Margaret Mary Factor Kincaid was one of 8 children of Louis (Lewis) Factor (1834-1903) and Catherine Killinger Factor (1836-1901). Both of Margaret's parents were born in Alsace-Lorraine, France, an area that went back & forth between Germany and France. Both families were German from early records but later claimed to be French. Records show their original language was German.
