Donald E. Pierce, age 89, of West Milton, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Brookdale of Piqua. He was born July 22, 1932 to Delbert & Pauline M. (Minnich) Pierce in Miami County, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Shirley A. (Neth) Pierce; daughter Marla Kay Pierce; grandson Timothy Best; and brother Robert Pierce. He will be missed and remembered by his loving children Terry (Rosie) Pierce of Clinton, IN, Donald Jr (Carol) Pierce of Houston, Patty (Doug) Best of Union City, and Lisa (Sam) Coy of Bradford; grandchildren Toby & Philip Cherney, Brad & Chrissy Pierce, David & Erin Pierce, Christina & Shannon Able, Russell & Carol Ann Pierce, Chad Pierce, and Jeromy Johnson; 14 great grandchildren; sister Betty Wintrow of Troy. Donald was a member of the Mountain Top VFW Post #6557 and a past member of the West Milton Eagles. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 11, 2022 in Riverside Cemetery, West Milton.
