Reba Jo Allen, 57, of Moody, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015. The service will be 3 p.m., Saturday, October 3, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with the Rev. Sherrie Massington officiating.
Reba was born January 8, 1958 in Pasadena to Earnest and Geneva Land. She attend Moody School. She married Kenneth Allen December 15, 1973. They had one son Kenny. She worked at L3 Communications for 28 years.
She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, traveling, and spending time with her family. She especially love spending time with the kids. When traveling she liked to eat crawfish tails. Two of her favorite foods were gizzards and fruit. She enjoyed watching detective shows.
She collected All God's Children figurines. She was one of the most loving people you could meet. She was a strong woman and had a heart of gold. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenny; sister Glenda Trull; and nephew, Allen Trull.
Survived by her husband, Kenneth; brother, Marrion "Bubba" Land and his wife, Janet, of Moody; sisters, Sylvia Holder and her husband, Bill of West, Mary Wagner and her husband, Danny, of Axtell; sister-in-law, Tommie Aulie and her husband, Loyd, of Tyler; and numerous nephews and nieces; and great-nephews and great-nieces.
