His daycare worker pleaded guilty to aggravated child abuse with great bodily harm for allegedly shaking him so hard that his brain swelled and wiped out cognitive functioning and therefore severely disabling him, when he was five months old in 2007.
Since that time, he had reportedly had vision and hearing problems, and had to be fed through a tube in his stomach.
He was survived by his parents, two brothers Kaeson and Kanton; his grandparents Christopher and Lee Reynolds and Louis and Sally Schwade; great grandparents Maurice and Barbara Reynolds, aunts, uncles and other relatives.

SCHWADE, Kaleb Carson 4, of Tampa, passed away Jan. 24, 2011. He was a deeply cherished son, brother, and grandson and will be forever missed. Kaleb had an amazing disposition, such a happy and loving little boy, despite the challenges that he faced daily as a result of a tragedy he suffered as a baby. His little life had a huge impact on many. His legacy will never be forgotten and he will be missed greatly. Mommy and Daddy love you Bubba! We are glad you finally got your wings. You are loved by so many.
