Elizabeth Ann Metcalf, 87, of Parrottsville, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015, at Signature Health Care.

She was a member of Whites Chapel Disciples of Christ.

Mrs. Metcalf was a homemaker.

She was a wonderful and generous mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Brenda and Nickie Partin; three grandchildren and spouse: Lisa and Paul Garritt, Terry Norton, and Lovinia Norton; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law: Clyde and Virginia Franklin, Johnny and Cindy Franklin, Oscar and Lucille Franklin of Virginia; sisters and brother-in-law: Barbara Crum, Virginia and Bob Melton, and Linda Norton of Newport; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law: Shirley Franklin and Alice Franklin; daughter-in-law: Peggy Norton; and a special friend: Michelle Harradon.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Rev. William Metcalf; a son: Glenn Norton; grandson: Jason Partin; granddaughter: Teresa Partin; parents: Roscoe and Vestina Franklin; brothers: Lester Franklin and Dewey Franklin; and sisters: Betty Jane Parks and Lucille Southerland.

The family will receive friends from 1pm-2pm Tuesday at Sherman Hollow Pentecostal Church.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm at the church with Rev. Buster Shelton and Rev. Terry Franklin officiating.

Interment will follow in Whites Cemetery in Parrottsville.

Pallbearers will be friends and grandsons.

The family extends a special thanks to Peggy West with Amedisys Hospice and the staff of Signature Health Care.
