John H. Haenn, 86, of Vineland died at home on Friday morning April 5, 2013.

He was the husband of the late June E. Haenn (nee Custer), who died in 2009. They had been married 62 years at the time of her death.

Mr. Haenn was born in Bridgeton and was the son of the late Ralph and Nellie Gilman Haenn. He graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1944 and lived in Bridgeton for many years. He also enjoyed ten years living in Florida before returning to the area in 2000.

He was employed in several capacities with the Atlantic City Electric Company before his retirement. A member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Vineland, Mr. Haenn was a devoted family man.

He is survived by three children, Judith Ann Haenn of Long Beach, CA, Joanne H. Garner (Herman) of Millville and Jay D. Haenn (Tammy) of Hopewell Twp., five grandchildren, Robin Suarez (Hector), Robbie Fuerneisen, Bryce Bonilla - Haenn, Jennifer Kalnajs (Ainars) and Jessica Haenn and six great grandchildren, Taylor, Stephanie, Victoria, Roxanne, Alisha and Sierra. He is also survived by a sister, Helen Perry of Hopewell Twp.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 2384 E. Landis Ave. in Vineland on Monday afternoon April 8th at 2 o'clock where friends will be received from 12 Noon until 2.

Pastor Gary N. Stiegler will officiate.

The burial will follow at the Cohansey Baptist Cemetery in Roadstown.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the FREITAG FUNERAL HOME in Bridgeton.
