SOUTH BEND - Mr. Tommy L. Stewart, age 70, who resided on South Meade Street, South Bend, IN, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, IN. Tommy was born July 13, 1945 to Charles & Irene Stewart. He worked 20 years as a factory laborer for General Sheet Metal, retiring in 1998. His passions were boxing, playing cards, barbecuing and talking. Tommy was preceded in death by his sister, Delores Stewart and a brother, Charlie Stewart. Survivors include his parents, Charlie & Irene Stewart, one sister, Louise (Frank) Sanders, one brother, Robert (Ardessa) Stewart, four daughters, Shalona Stewart, Rena' Stewart, Angela Clay and Felissa Bowers; nine grandchildren, Dellvona, Dellshana, Ebony, Angel, Shavona, Chekie, Jant'e, Damarcus and De'Mare, three great- grandchildren, 11 nieces and nephews, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Alford's Mortuary with viewing occurring from 11:00 a.m. to noon at Alford's Mortuary.
