Mrs. Mary E. Roby, 53, died at her home, 409 North Milner street, at 4 a.m. today.
She was the daughter of William and Mary Strickler and was born in Appanoose county January 19, 1884.
Surviving are her husband, Orlando; one daughter, Dulcie Roby, at home; two sons Gerald Roby of Ottumwa and Harold Roby of Centerville; her father, William Strickler of Ottumwa; three sisters, Mrs. V. J. Atwood of Dubuque, Mrs. Frank Doorah of Davenport, and Mrs. Clarence Murphy of Rock Island; two brothers, Pearly Strickler of El Paso, Tex.; and U. E. Strickler of Prescott, Ariz., and one granddaughter, Patricia M. Roby of Centerville. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Johnson's funeral Chapel, conducted the Rev. Charles A. Albin. Burial will be made in the Shaul cemetery.
