Randall “Randy” Mark Fowler of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 28, 1954 at Detroit, Michigan, the son of Jessie Atkinson Fowler and the late Charles Carrol Fowler. He worked for the State of Arkansas as an Environmental Quality Enforcement Inspector. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandsons. Another part of his family, that was very important to him, was his dog Sassy (aka “Pugs”), and his grandpuppy Maddie, that he spoiled with corndogs, each time he went for a visit.
Randy won his courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at his home in Sheridan, at the age of 61. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Fowler.
Survivors include his wife, Shannon Fowler of Sheridan; sons, Douglas Fowler and Michael Fowler, both of White Hall, and Corey Doss of Sheridan; daughters, Mandi Fowler of White Hall and KaSarah Green of Sheridan; brother, Wendell Fowler of Little Rock; sister, Karole Shaw of Sheridan; grandsons, Caden and Channing Green. He is also survived by Shane Green that Randy thought of more like a son, than a son-in-law. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Sheridan. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
