Carol J. Anderson, age 86 of North Branch died on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Ecumen North Branch.
Carol was born on December 25, 1928 in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin to parents, Bernhard and Gladys (Nelson) Lund. Carol was baptized at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church in Center City. She moved to the Taylors Falls area with her family and attended schools in Lindstrom. Carol worked at the Rainbow Café in Lindstrom for several years before she met and married Gerald Anderson on September 19, 1947 at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church. Carol was a homemaker her whole life and helped Gerald with their dairy and crop farming operations. They retired in 1999 and moved to a new home in North Branch. Carol loved collecting antiques, cooking, serving egg coffee and making homemade breads. She loved her African Violets. She also especially loved spending time with Gerald and friends at their lake home on Lake Superior near Grand Marais.
Carol is survived by several nieces and nephews, Wylie Anderson, Judy Anderson, Wendy (Paul) Lindberg, Janet Wilcox, Cynthia Holmberg, Sharyl (Mike) Liebig and Charles (Shirley) Jackson; her half brother, Morton Ford; two sisters in laws; Gloria Wilcox and Helen Anderson. Carol is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gerald on October 30, 2014.
