Margie was born November 30, 1928, in Bath County, Virginia to Alice and Cecil Gwin. She worked for Frank and Vivian Warren for 33 years and attended First Assembly of God since 1963. She enjoyed bringing anyone to church with her. She was a Dairy Queen addict and everyone at Dairy Queen knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by children, Wanda Roberson of Amarillo, Shirley McDonald of Monroe, GA,
Curtis and Sandy Simmons of Texas, Alice Johnson of Tucumcari, NM, Elizabeth Nunez of Odem, TX and Patti Cake Simmons of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 2 grandchildren at heart, Kei'Abury and Devyn; also surviving her are her siblings, Lawrence Gwin and wife Nelli, Arnold and James Gwin of Hot Springs, VA and Mildred Phillips of Baltimore, MD.
