Marie Parrish Stewart, 78, of Raleigh died Friday, October 2nd at her residence. Mrs. Stewart was born in Raleigh on June 3, 1937 to the late Berlon Henry Parrish and Hattie Bell Carroll Parrish and is the widow of James Glenn Stewart who died in 2013. She graduated from Hugh Morson High School in 1955 and attended Peace College. She retired from NC State Govt. in Business Operations with different agencies. She was a member of Milner Memorial Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Maria Carroll Stewart Caussyn and husband David of Tallahassee, FL; sister, Mrs. Annes Parrish Provo of Mechanicsville, VA; and a nephew.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 11 AM at Milner Memorial Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends at the church after the service. Burial rites will be held 11 AM Wednesday at Oakwood Cemetery.
