William "Barry" Hendon, 49, Hokes Bluff, Ala, was a 1973 graduate of Gadsden High School and attended Gadsden State Community College. He was the manager of Service Auto Parts for 25 years and was currently managing O'Reilly's Auto Parts, Rainbow City. He was a charter member of Rivereast Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and was currently serving as worship leader. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Luther and Pauline Hendon and Belle St. John. He is survived by his wife, Robin Hendon; sons, Andrew (Kristi) Hendon, Zachary and Tyler Hendon; daughter, Heather (Lee) Phillips; parents, Bill and Lou Hendon; mother and father-in-law, Buddy and Mary Lou Copeland; sister-in-law, Lori (Rod) Palmer; nieces and nephews. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
