Arthur 'Lloyd' Barnett, age 84, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, September 24th. Lloyd was born in Bellingham, a graduate of Bellingham High School class of 1950 and served in the Marine Corp during the Korean conflict. After leaving the service he met and married his first wife, Oralee Robinson who predeceased him, as did his sister Diane Childers. He is survived by his children Deborah (Keith), Toni (Kevin) and Douglas (Kerri), numerous grandchildren and great-grand children as well as his wife Sandra Overton, stepson Michael, brother Joseph, sister Phyllis, numerous nephews, nieces and a large extended family. Lloyd spent 14 years as a driver for Greyhound bus lines before becoming a fixture with the WTA driving in the coImmunity for 23 years. Lloyd was also active in the Amalgamated Transit Union, working on behalf of his fellow drivers.
