Glen Arnold

OTTUMWA–Glen L. Arnold, 89, of 326 N. Pocahontas, formerly of Rt. 1 Blakesburg, died at 11:25 a.m. Sept. 9, 2003, at Ridgewood Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was born March 4, 1914 in Wapello County to Oscar Leroy and Jeanett [sic] Nute Arnold. He married Wilma Miller March 9, 1935 in Ottumwa.

A resident of Wapello County all of his life, he farmed southeast of Blakesburg most all of his life.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Eugene Arnold of Ottumwa and Dennis Arnold of Blakesburg; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Stephanie Raphael-Nakos officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.

Visitation will begin 9 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the family present from 2 to 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
