CENTRAL CITY -- Ronnie Alexander, 59, of Central City died at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, at his home. He was born Jan. 1, 1950, in Muhlenberg County. He was a self-employed auto mechanic and a member of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Lawrence Alexander; and two brothers, Jimmy Alexander and Tommy Alexander.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Diane Alexander of Central City; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Doug Busick of Central City; four sisters, Saundra Roberts of Trinity, Ala., Patricia Ford and Shelia Alexander, both of Greenville, and Linda Alexander of Central City; four nephews; and three nieces.

Services are private. Burial will be private. Tucker Funeral home in Central City is in charge of arrangements.
