Daniel Neil Haynes, 20, of Route 3 (Bearsdale Road), Decatur, died Thursday afternoon (Aug. 30, 1973) in his home.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial gathering for Dan at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Haynes residence at Bearsdale. Private burial services will be on Monday.
Memorials: Daniel N. Haynes Memorial Fund in care of Phi Mu Alpha, Illinois Wesleyan University, Bloomington.
Mr. Haynes was born in Jacksonville a son of Harrington C. and Janet Walker Haynes, Jr.
He was a senior at Illinois Wesleyan University, Bloomington, where he was a member of Phi Mu Alpha Fraternity.
Surviving are his parents; twin brother Michael of Bloomington; brothers, Brian, Connor and Patrick, all of Bearsdale; and grandparents, Doc. and Mrs. H.C. Haynes of Maroa and Mrs. C.G Purl of Carrollton.
