Norma Lea Wright Craig, age 85, of Casselberry, Fla. passed away on Sept. 26, 2015, at her home surrounded by her children.
She was born July 18,1930, in Weston: to Roscoe and Bonice Jordan Wright.
She was the eldest of nine children, Robert Wright (deceased), Richard Wright of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Shirley Pumphrey, of Clarksburg, Joan Brown of Weston, Daniel Wright of Clarksburg, Brenda Davis of Weston, Barbara Sigley of Clarksburg and Vicki Jackson of Shadybrook. She attended schools in Weston.

She married Franklin L. Craig on April 27, 1946, in Gilmer County. He preceded her in death. She and her husband were parents of five children, Alexa Montgomery Hall (Allan) of Lake Mary, Fla., Karl Craig (Mary) of Casselberry, Fla., Larry Craig (Sherry) of Micco, Fla., Tina Craig of Apopka, Fla. and Lisa Arwood, of Casselberry, Fla.
She spent 25 years moving around the world as a military wife, living in Germany, Japan and many of the states in the U.S. Her life revolved around her family and she created a warm and loving home no matter where there were stationed. She loved the experiences of new cities and countries. They created memories around the world and loved sharing all the adventures with others. She had a great sense of humor and loved welcoming anyone into her home. They returned many times to their home in Weston on Camden Avenue during the military years and eventually retired to Orlando, Fla. before moving back to Jane Lew for 10 years and then back to Florida in 2000. She often joked they lived a life like gypsies and loved it.
One of her greatest passions in life was learning about her own family history. She and her husband made many trips to nearby states to seek out information for her work on genealogy. She discovered family tales and roots on both her own and her husband's family. She created a family tree back many generations and started a curiosity even in her grandchildren who will keep it going for generations to come.
She was known to her 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren as "Nan" and relished that role. They always knew that they were loved and they respected her loving spirit and wisdom which she shared willingly. She was open, honest and most of all elegant.
