Gary Norman McClelland, 60, Washington, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2005, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center, St. Louis.
Mr. McClelland was born Dec. 13, 1944, in St. Louis, the son of Norman "Boots" McClelland and wife Mae.
He was united in marriage to Connie S. McDaniel July 3, 1965, in St. Louis.
Mr. McClelland was the co-owner of Hellebusch Tool and Die Inc. in Washington from 1973 until his retirement in 1997. Then he and his wife owned RE/MAX First in Washington until May 2005.
He was a member of Elks Lodge 1559, Ducks Unlimited and Peace Lutheran Church.
Mr. McClelland was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Gary Michael McClelland and wife Desiree, James Wesley McClelland and wife Allison, all of Washington, and Matthew Edward McClelland, Union; two grandsons, Dillon Michael McClelland and Cody Blaine McClelland, both of St. Clair; one brother, David Lynn McClelland and wife Joan, St. Clair; one niece, Samantha Lynn McClelland, St. Louis; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at Peace Lutheran Church, Washington. The Rev. Kenneth Knutson officiated.
Burial was in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Washington.
