He was born April 10, 1929 in Diller, NE to Herman and Mildred Richardson Albers.
Graduating from Beatrice high school in 1947, he then enlisted in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brothers Kenneth and Darwin (Al) Albers.
He is survived by his wife Eunice and daughters Kathy (Chris) Coffman and Karen (Gary) Cornelius as well as 4 grandchildren; Mynette Carlson, Tiffany (Louis) Marascio, Steven Coffman and Misty (Travis) Grammer. He also has 3 great-grandchildren; Austin Carlson & Ellington & Evalyn Marascio.
He will be missed by many very special friends and nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista.
Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.
