Warren S. Douglas went to be with the Lord on Sept. 30, 2015, after a long illness.

Warren was born July 6, 1941, to Wilfred and Ethel Douglas in Susanville, California. He graduated from Anderson High School in 1958 and went on to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Navy. Upon his honorable discharge, he continued to serve as a reservist for an additional four years. In 1962, Warren began his career with Rockwell International as an electronics technician. As his career progressed, he was promoted through the ranks and retired from Boeing International as a divisional director with 37 years under his belt.

Warren was most proud of the Apollo and Star Wars programs that he helped develop for NASA during his career.

Warren had a strong belief in God, Country, and Family. Warren was a straight shooter, he told it like it was. His love for dogs and horses was very evident, as he raised both throughout his life. Warren was a family-oriented man's man; he worked hard to ensure his entire family was provided for as they grew up. His family and friends were honored and proud to be a part of his life. Warren was well spoken, well groomed with great hair, and dressed exceptionally well.

Warren was very proud of who he was, the Douglas name, and his entire family. Warren married the Love of his life Marsha in June of 2003 and they made their home in Chino Valley, Arizona.

Warren was preceded in death by both his parents, Wilfred and Ethel.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Marsha, Chino Valley Arizona; two sisters, Vickey and Sherrey; and seven children; Tyrone (Christina) Douglas, Wendy (Don) Douglas, and Justin (Mary) Douglas, Kurt (Maxine) Spurgin, Allison (Jason) Smith all of California, Stephanie (David) Stewart of Wales, U.K. and Katie (Jean) Rosa of Arizona. He was also loved by 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, at 1:30p.m. at the Chino Valley Bible church, 317 Market Place, Chino Valley, Arizona. A military interment will be at the National Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona, on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, at 11 a.m. sharp.
