Joan is survived by husband Ted; children Cindy (Brad), Chris (Soni); stepson Randy (Michelle); grandchildren Nicole, Whitney, Sydney, Taylor, Shane, Amy, Cole; sisters Judy, Suzie, Salley; brother-in-law Ernie Alliota; brother Michael; mother Gladys; preceded in death by her father Lynndyl; brother Doug; sister Bonnie; stepfather Walter A. Carlton. A remembrance will be held at the LDS Pampas Chapel, 10885 S. Pampas Way (835 East), Sandy, at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2003.
