Corey was a 7th grader at Winston County Middle School, as well as being in the Gifted Class. He attended Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Corey played baritone in the Winston County High School Marching Band. He had many hobbies, which included playing on his cell phone, watching Youtube videos and Anime cartoons, playing video games, playing board and card games with family and friends. He enjoyed collecting little bits of memorabilia, such as seashells, rocks and other items which were of no value to anyone but himself, but his favorite pastime was spending time with friends and family. He was known by “Moose”, which was given to him by his Nana.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 4-9pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs. He will lie in state on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 1-2:12pm at First Baptist Church Double Springs, where services will follow at 2:12pm. Burial will follow in Mt. Ebron Baptist Church Cemetery in Double Springs.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kary Lisa Hill; great grandparents, Ollie Hill, and Virgil and Margaret Winkles.
