Christine Riley Cannon, 84, died Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at her home in Leesburg.Her graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday at Leesburg Cemetery. Rev. Mike Lyons and Rev. Bobby Moye officiating. Her visitation will be Thursday 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Kimbrell-Stern. Pallbearers will be Shane Cannon, Jay Cannon, Emory Kitchens, Alan Wheeler, Michael Elliot and Jason Morey.A native of Albany, Mrs. Cannon had lived in Leesburg for most of her life. She graduated from Albany High School and retired from the State Bank of Leesburg. Mrs. Cannon was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Raymond Cannon, Sr.She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Cannon Kitchens, Leesburg; sons, Thomas Raymond Cannon, Jr. and wife Susan, Leesburg, Ralph James Cannon and wife Flora, Leesburg; six grandchildren, Chrissy Kitchens Wheeler, Shane Cannon, Kelly Cannon Elliot, Jay Cannon, Emory Kitchens, Hope Cannon and 10 great grandchildren.In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Albany Community Hospice and Palliative Care, P O Box 1828, Albany, GA 31702 or American Cancer Society, 323 Pine Ave, Albany, GA 31701.
