We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Dolores Annette Johnson Stinnett, age 78, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Miller County Nursing Home.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 2:30 PM at Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Donna Sue Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. You may sign the online guest register at www.evansskipperfh.com.

Mrs. Stinnett was born in Hughston, WV on November 9, 1934 to the late Alfred and Alfie Cobb Johnson. She retired from the Federal Government where she worked as a secretary. She was a very active member of Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church; member of Eastern Star; elder in the Presbyterian Church before moving membership to Reynolds Chapel.

She leaves to cherish his memory her husband of 65 years Emerson Stinnett of Donalsonville, GA; sons, Randy Stinnett and his wife Kathy of Rosemont, NC; Rex Stinnett and his wife Elaine of Destin, FL; daughter, Renee Deitsch and her husband James of Phoenix, AR. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Dustin Stinnett (Brooke), Gabe Stinnett, Bryant Stinnett, Bryan Stinnett, Amie Lockhart (David) April Burns (Jerry) and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Alfie Cobb Johnson.
