Before retiring she worked for Commercial Credit Corp. and also worked for NSA. She graduated from Westminster High School in 1943.
She was a member of the American Legion Post No. 31 Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post No. 467 Ladies Auxiliary and DAVA No. 22 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, NASCAR, boxing, rodeos, and ice hockey.
She is survived by sons Wayne D. Kraft and wife Michael of Baltimore, Larry M. Kraft and wife Sharon of Annapolis, daughter Paula J. Duffy and husband John of Camden, SC, step-children Carol Ann Tackett of Burtonsville, MD and Harold L. Jenkins and wife Janice of Lanham, MD. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter and numerous step grandchildren and step great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with her son Rev. Wayne D. Kraft and Rev. Kevin Spence officiating. Interment will follow in Sams Creek Cemetery.
She was predeceased by 2 sisters Edna Glass and Dorothy Eyler and a brother Carroll Yingling.
