Mrs. Harriet Davis
Mrs. Harriet Brown Davis, wife of Daniel H. Davis died this morning at 2:30 o'cklock at St. Mary's hospital, where had been under treatment. Mrs. Davis was born 56 years ago in the town of Florida and resided in this city until a few years ago when she removed Dexter, Maine. She was twice married, her first husband being the late Captain Abram V Smith. Besides her husband, she leaves two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Rachel A Nessel, of Rome, Mrs. Frances Campbell, of Akin, and Mail Carrier George Brown, of this city. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Campbell, at Akin, the Rev. J. R. Kyle of the First Reformed church officiating, and internment will be made in Green Hill.
