EDNA C. BOYD, Age 90, of Pine Bluff, Died Thursday, October 1, 2015, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Boyd was Born May 5, 1925, in Parkdale, Arkansas, the Daughter of the late Clinton M. and Emma Frances Henthorn Cockrell.

Mrs. Boyd was Reared and Received her Early Education in Parkdale, Arkansas and El Dorado, Arkansas, where she Graduated from El Dorado High School.

She had also Lived in El Dorado, Arkansas 30 Years; Ashley County, Arkansas 10 Years; and Pine Bluff 1O Years.

Mrs. Boyd was Member of Greenlee Baptist Church and was Retired from AT&T as a Long Distance Operator.

She was also a Member of the Telephone Pioneers, Former Member of Southside Baptist Church in El Dorado, Arkansas.

She Loved to do Crafts and Collect Antiques.

She was also a Volunteer for Cerebral Palsy for several Years.

Mrs. Boyd was Preceded in Death in 1982, by her Husband, Clarence A. “Red” Boyd, whom she Married October 20, 1946, in El Dorado, Arkansas; Four Brothers, Jimmy, Mance, Jack and Elmo Cockrell; Four Sisters, Elizabeth Ames, Emma Lee Mathews, Betty Howie and Patsy Ann Brown.

Survivors include a Sister, Celia Starling of Yukon, Oklahoma; Bobby White of Pine Bluff; Devoted Friend and Caretaker; Many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Great Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be Monday, October 5, 2015, at 11:00 A.M., at Greenlee Baptist Church by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors with Reverend James Watson Officiating. Burial will be in Pinewood Memorial Gardens Cemetery near Crossett at 3:30 P.M.

The Family will Receive Friends from 10:00 A.M. to Service Time at the Church.

Memorials may take the Form of Ccontributions to Greenlee Baptist Church, 4901 Old Warren Road, Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71603.
