She was born to Raymond and Barbara Ellison Thide on December 10, 1964 in Huntington, New York. She is preceded in death by her first husband Neil Trachtenberg. Debra worked for UPS as a marshaller parking airplanes.
Besides her husband of 11 years, she leaves to cherish her memory her son, Aaron Trachtenberg; along with step-children, Amanda, Cory, and Lucas Ballard. She is also survived by siblings, David Thide (Sandi), Randy Thide (Janet), Eleonore Mullins (George), and Angela Casler (Jim); friend Diann Ferrell; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway, with burial at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
