Theresa Ann Jacobs, 14, and Jamie Lea Jacobs, 11, of 3430 Peoria Road died Monday in a fire.

Jamie was a sixth grade student at Fairview Elementary School and Theresa was a ninth grade student at Thomas Edison Middle School. They were born in Springfield the daughters of James Edward and Esther Marie Carter Jacobs.

Surviving are their father, James Jacobs of Springfield; mother, Mrs. Esther Jacobs of Springfield; two sisters, Miss Malinda Jacobs of Springfield and Crystal Jacobs at home; one brother, James Jacobs of Springfield: one half-sister, Tina Turasky of Springfield; four half brothers, David Richards of Phoenix, Ariz., Timothy Richards, Lawrence Richards and Michael Whitman, all of Springfield; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Carter and Mr. and Mrs, Paul Guade, all of Springfield.

Eliinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments.
