She worked in the food service industry her whole life. Her first job was at Neisner’s in Potsdam. Through the years she cooked in several restaurants and even owed a restaurant, Lorna’s Higley Diner, in Colton. While living in Arizona for nine years, she cooked for a sorority house and a nursing home. For several years she was the cook for Weller Mountain Hunting Club, a position she loved. In recent years during the summer months she worked at Spirits of Hannawa and at her sister Roxanne’s restaurant, Foxy Roxy’s, in Potsdam. She also catered for several years.
Lorna was survived by her husband; her two daughters, Catherine (Morrow) and Paul Robinson; and Christine (Morrow) and Andrew Tupper; three grandchildren; ten step-children; her three brothers, Gene, Randy and Chet Brundage; and her sister Roxanne (Brundage) and Lynn Smith, Potsdam.
She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Caren, and a sister, Rosalie (Brundage) Wright.
She and her husband wintered in Bradenton, Florida, where she also kept busy organizing and cooking for many events. She was an associate member of the Colton Fire Department, often organizing and cooking for events. She was a past Brownie and Girl Scout leader and co-founder of a twirler and pompom group in the 1970s. She and her husband started an annual Texas horseshoe tournament that drew many people who enjoyed the yearly event. She loved playing shuffleboard, playing poker and doing crafts. She was well known for having a big heart.
