Melissa Mae "Missy" Wyatt, 42, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2015.

She was born on January 29, 1973 in Barbourville, KY to Arthur and Nona (Engle) Wyatt.

Melissa graduated from Lafayette Jeff High School in 1992. She enjoyed writing poems and reading books. Her favorite saying was "If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, anything is possible."

Melissa was a Christian and attended Buck Creek Baptist church with her mother and father, who is the pastor.

Surviving are her parents, Arthur and Nona of Lafayette and her sisters, Jennifer (Azael) Romero of Ambia and Susan (Eddie) Neal of Lafayette.

Visitation October 5, 2015 from 5 -8 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel. Services October 6, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bill Fields officiating. Interment Rest Haven Memorial Park.
