Lee Ola Gilbert, 52, of Crossett died Friday, September 26, 2003, at her residence. She was a native of Strong but had resided in Crossett for the past 18 years. She was a former C.N.A. and a member of Phillip Grove Baptist Church.


Survivors include one son, Herman Gilbert and wife Sharita of North Little Rock; one daughter, Michelle Martin of Crossett; her mother and step-father, Eunice and Abraham Shaw of Crossett; three brothers, Abraham Shaw Jr. of Crossett, Willie Ed Shaw of Little Rock and Kim Luckett of Pine Bluff; two sisters, Teresa Gatson of Santa Marie, CA and Monica Gatson of Pine Bluff; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Harman Gatson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 2, at 11 a.m. at Phillip Grove Baptist Church with Rev. W.R. Taylor and Rev. John Childress officiating. Burial will be at Wards Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg. Pallbearers are to be Adrian Tolefree, Thaddis Richard, Rodney Wade, William Scates, Terry Gilliam and Bruce Richmond Sr. Honorary pallbearers are to be the deacons of Phillip Grove Baptist Church.
