Myron S. Moore, 75 of Rapid City, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Myron was born on August 5, 1931 in Miller, SD, to Robert and Sadie (Ratliffe) Moore. He was married to Shirley Schweigerdt on March 27, 1965. Two children, Michael and Ann were born from this union. In August 1993, he married Marge McNeil. Myron graduated from Gettysburg High School in 1949, and from South Dakota State University in 1964. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955. He was happiest when he was working in his garden.

He is survived by his children, four brothers and three sisters,.

His parents, two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

A memorial has been established to the American Legion Club of Rapid City.

A private family burial will be held at a later date at the Black Hills National Cemetery, near Sturgis, SD.
